(inter)mezzo is an immersive dance party hosted by Gertie at Blind Barber. Our aim is to create a space (physical, mental and emotional) to platform artists that represent the vibrant arts and culture within Chicago's Queer community.

We get dropped into the world of a new artist each week — we are immersed in their art in a physical sense, we will get to hear about their practice in a barber shop talk and then we get to kiki with them and dance out the Sunday scaries.
